Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor Rich man Poor man Beggarman Thief I started in the forces And horses are for courses I learnt the skills of laundry And learnt them well. For if I am dejected The laundry is selected Then folded, put in piles And it breaks the spell. I drive my kids to swim class To school then to gym class Then after we have eaten All their teeth are brushed Then bed and read a story For it’s obligatory To spend these hours together As the night is hushed. My day has nearly ended, All other tasks suspended For I must write my diary While it’s in my head Whether sitting or I’m kneeling I express my inner feeling As my soul I am reviewing And it’s time for bed. I get up under dark skies And opposite the park, rise To lift some heavy weights So I play my part My normal work’s suspended. Least said, then soonest mended I keep in top condition So I’m primed to start. Until that day’s returning I’ll keep the home fires burning And supervise the schooling (Which is not my trade) While courage is essential And much is providential I’ll contribute my portion ‘Till the last bar’s played.

So lovely, each precious moment!!!!
