Something different. Recently I have been working out how to make model sailing boats from aluminium cans.

They are all based on measurements I made on a Mirror, so they should look a bit like one.

Today (New Years Eve) we started registering boats that were joining the fleet for the worlds. It was easier than registering for the Nationals. We knew what to expect this time.

Tomorrow we tidy up loose ends of measurements and have a practice race. With 61 boats registered (we had 39 maximum sailing in the Nationals), the practice race will help us recalibrate for the larger fleet .
