Model electric car: collected posts

I want to understand the features that determine the performance of electric cars. And I want to explain it to an interested non-engineer.

I thought the way to do it was to analyse  an actual vehicle – perhaps a Tesla. But what about tests? The Tesla was out of our league right now, so we looked for an alternative.

How about a Tamiya Grasshopper 1/10 scale model electric car? It can demonstrate most of the features of the Tesla model X – apart from its price.

I will describe our progress in a series of blog-posts, which  I will link to this page to provide a one-stop-shop for accessing them. You can read them as they are posted, or follow the links on this page.
