Charissa asked about the glue to use when making things out of aluminium can. I use a contact adhesive of the kind intended for glueing laminate on bench tops etc. It’s easy to find small tubes of it in Australia, but I couldn’t find it on a recent trip to the UK.

Much of the time I use sticky tape for the gliders (for example the ‘Hawker Hart’), but it’s no use on boats!
