(poem) Nursery rhymes for petrol heads 7. Mary had a panel van (Mary had a little lamb)

Mary had a little lamb

Mary had a little lamb, its fleece was white as snow
And everywhere that Mary went the lamb was sure to go.
It followed her to school one day, it was against the rule
It made the children laugh and play to see a lamb at school

 Mary had a panel van

 Mary had a panel van
An airbrush work of art
And everywhere that Mary went
Shed catch a young mans heart.

He’d seek the bloke who owned the wheels
Then, feeling like a fool
Discover Mary sitting there
Insouciantly cool.
